NATURE

No joking about this. The nature has been clear, if we do not regulate ourselves, she will take care of fixing things, global warming, rising oceans, deforestation, coral reef deaths, desertification, pandemics are all clear signs, it can no longer be postponed, we must all commit ourselves to now.

World population: 7,8 Bln
Without Potable water: 2,2 Bln
Melting Ice: 81 Bln of Tons/Year
Produzione CO2: 36,8 Bln of Tons/Year

. Sustainability

The industrial development that fueled the unbridled consumerism of the past 70 years has created more damage to the environment than the previous 2000 years. The burning of coal and oil derivatives is suffocating the planet with the production of co2. Rising temperatures are raising the level of the oceans, desertificating ever larger areas and killing entire species of living beings. Intensive food production of both animals and plants is destroying forests and contributing to the production of co2.

. Good habits

We must radically change our lifestyle by making it sustainable for the planet: every action, even the smallest, has a positive or negative impact on environmental protection.
We consume too much and badly: in the face of 1700 million overweight people there are 800 million undernourished and more than 800 million do not have access to drinking water.

. Nutrition

Moderate the use of bottled water. Drink tap water, use the bottle. Buy local or national fruits and vegetables. Avoid treated fruits and vegetables with the words “inedible peel”. Discard fish from intensive farms and fishing.

. Packaging

Avoid products packed in disposable plastic bags. Shopping with reusable or biodegradable bags. Avoid non-recyclable wrappers, especially non-separable multi-material ones. Reuse glass containers such as bottles and jars.

. Shopping

Moderate technology purchases subject to digital obsolescence. Moderate the purchase of clothes, avoid cheap products from the big chains. Prefer reusable games and do not throw them away but share / donate them. Avoid low-cost games in non-recyclable plastic.

. Mobility

Walking, cycling or riding a scooter. Moderate the use of electric vehicles and energy consumption in general. Use public transportation. Avoid taxis and chauffeur driven car services.

. Tourism

Leave shells and corals on beaches and coral reefs. Avoid sunscreen for snorkeling on coral reefs. Staying in private homes or small hotel facilities. Avoid the big hotel chains. Avoid cruises on large ships. Avoid the big tourist villages. Avoid all-inclusive formulas synonymous with food waste. Moderate the use of drinking water and energy. Eat in local markets and street stalls. Avoid incentives for mass tourism.

In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous.
